About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a position in Canton, Georgia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during the procedure.
  • Operate MRI equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Document patient information and procedures accurately in the medical record.
  • Adhere to infection control practices and maintain a sterile environment.

Requirements

  • Current state-issued MRI technologist license.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in MRI technology.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to MRI imaging.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited MRI technologist program.
  • Basic computer skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency with MRI equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long, Monday through Friday, with potential for weekend and holiday work.
