Travel MRI Technologist - $2,935 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 9‑week assignment in New York, New York, starting 11/09/2026. The position involves operating and preparing specialized equipment to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, applying technical judgment to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images following written protocols and meeting patients' needs. Employment type: Travel; 37.5 hours per week; 8‑hour shifts.

Schedule

Rotating shift: Tuesday through Friday 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm; 37.5 hours per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JCERT‑approved School of Radiologic Technology
• New York State License (L.R.T.)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• 2 years' experience in MRI

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures
• Position patients and coils
• Provide patient education
• Review safety questionnaires
• Ensure images are appropriately labeled and transmitted to PACS
• Maintain cleanliness and supplies in the radiology room
• Evaluate images for technical acceptability
• Record patient and exam information into the Radiology Information System
• Schedule exams
• Report equipment issues
• Assist physicians
• Adhere to safety standards
• Attend in‑services and maintain licensure in good standing
• Follow applicable health and safety guidelines

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 37.5 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
