Travel MRI Technologist - $1,884 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Johnson City, Tennessee. As an MRI Tech, you'll use advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Travel assignment

Pay

$1,710 – $1,884 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registration
• Phillips MRI Systems experience
• Current state license (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
• Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills
