MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Bradenton, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology and MRI principles to operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently.
• Absorb patients and coils onto MRI tables and ensure proper positioning.
• Inject contrast media as needed and set appropriate technical parameters.
• Operate MRI scanners and observe image data on monitors during scans.
• Recognize and respond to abnormal images and life-threatening situations.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Create a safe work environment for both staff and customers.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in critical care settings.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
