Travel MRI Technician - $2,515 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Wichita, Kansas.

About the role

This position is for a travel MRI Technologist role with one of our top healthcare clients. The assignment starts on 10/18/2026, with a duration of 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, and an evening shift of 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners safely and efficiently to assist in diagnosing disease and injury.
• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors around the MRI scanner’s magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the scanner table.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set appropriate technical parameters and operate MRI equipment.
• Observe image data on computer monitors during scans and recognize differences between normal and abnormal images.
• Respond to life-threatening situations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and professional guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Eighteen months of MRI Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
