About the role

This is a 13-week assignment in New Haven, CT, with a shift of 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (07:00 - 17:30). The facility uses Epic for charting and is a Level 1 trauma center with 1,411 beds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans including abdomen, brain, cervical, cranial nerves, diffusion (non-brain), ER/trauma, face/soft tissue neck, female pelvis, foot, hand, head MRA/MRV, hip/bony pelvis, knee, lower extremity long bones, lumbar, neck MRV, orbits, peripheral MRA, sacrum/coccyx, shoulder, spinal trauma, thoracic, temporomandibular joint, and upper extremity long bones.
  • Conduct specialized imaging techniques such as CINE (cerebrospinal fluid flow study), magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), maximum intensity projection (MIP), multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and perfusion studies.
  • Perform image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction.
  • Use various imaging sequences including gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, T-1 weighted images, and T-2 weighted images.
  • Prepare and/or administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs.
  • Adhere to isolation precautions/PPE protocols.
  • Operate Siemens MRI equipment and utilize surface coils.
  • Manage adult acute care, adult ICU, and adult outpatient cases.
  • Demonstrate leadership or management experience.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech.
  • ARRT MR certification.

Pay

$2,944 to $3,136 weekly. Pay listed includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30). Assignment length: 13 weeks. Start date: 09/21/2026.
