Responsibilities
- Conduct post-partum assessments for new mothers.
- Provide appropriate care for both vaginal and cesarean section deliveries.
- Monitor and assess infants, including weight checks and bilirubin monitoring.
- Assist with lactation support as needed.
- Float to other units as required, based on competencies.
Requirements
- New York State RN License (at time of submission)
- NRP and BLS certifications required
