Travel Postpartum / Mother-Baby RN - $2,301 per week

About the role

This travel assignment is for a Postpartum/Mother‑Baby Registered Nurse (RN) in Issaquah, Washington, beginning October 19, 2026, for a 26‑week contract. The position entails 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Educates and assists new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period.
• Performs the dual role of caring for infants and educating mothers about care.
• Responsible for caring for both moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Monitors mothers in the hours following delivery to ensure proper recovery.
• Must recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions.
• Teaches new parents how to care, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle‑feed the newborn and monitor his or her health.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
