Travel Millwright Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew working on the operation of large industrial equipment.
• Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and ensure appropriate equipment is available.
• Drive and pull equipment to various regional locations.
• Engage with prospects and clients to determine their needs and recommend services.
• Demonstrate the functionality and benefits of services tailored to customer needs.
• Enforce jobsite safety to comply with OSHA regulations and hth companies' Safety Program.
• Act as a liaison for site leadership and maintain positive client relations.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing team dedicated to customer service.
• Perform various other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
• Class B CDL preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use a variety of tools including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite or related software.

Physical Abilities

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairways regularly throughout the work shift.
• Ability to observe conditions and others as safety attendant, staying alert while seated for long periods of time as needed.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other tools and equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Ability to perform inspections of site, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to perform behavioral observations focused on safety and process improvement.
• Ability to follow safety protocol and report incidents, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions immediately to the site supervisor and safety manager.

Training

Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10-hour training within 60 days of starting at hth companies.
