Travel Millwright Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew that works on the operation of large industrial equipment.
• Organize crews, delegate job responsibilities, and ensure appropriate equipment is available.
• Drive and pull equipment to various regional locations.
• Engage with prospects and clients to determine their needs and recommend services.
• Demonstrate the functionality and benefits of services tailored to customer needs.
• Enforce jobsite safety to comply with OSHA regulations and hth companies' Safety Program.
• Act as a liaison for all site leadership and maintain positive client relations.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing team dedicated to customer service.
• Perform various other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of experience in the construction/industrial field with some management experience.
• Class B CDL preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use a variety of tools including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Working understanding of safety principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams and Office Suite or related software.

Physical Abilities

• Lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.
• Climb ladders and stairways regularly throughout the work shift.
• Observe conditions and others as safety attendant, staying alert while seated for long periods.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other tools and equipment safely and in a controlled manner.
• Perform inspections of site, tools, and equipment.
• Perform behavioral observations focused on safety and process improvement.
• Follow safety protocol and report incidents, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions immediately.

Training

• Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10-hour training within 60 days of starting at hth companies.
