About the Role

LanceSoft is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a 26-week travel assignment in Cordova, Alaska. This position requires an Alaska license and offers a 36-hour work week with 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical Care & Client Services
    • Provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including assessments, outpatient and aftercare treatment, and crisis intervention.
    • Deliver direct clinical services through individual, group, and family counseling/therapy.
    • Manage and maintain an assigned client caseload.
    • Advocate for clients within the agency and community as needed.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines.
    • Ensure documentation complies with agency policies, funding source requirements, federal/state/grant regulations, and professional ethical/clinical standards.
    • Prepare reports and other required documentation as needed.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork
    • Function as an active member of the agency team and collaborate effectively with all staff.
    • Attend weekly clinical team meetings, staff meetings, treatment team meetings, and case conferences.
    • Coordinate treatment activities with CCMC departments under the direction of the Director of Community Programs.
    • Provide consultation to CCMC staff and community agencies as requested.
    • Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with coworkers.
  • Community Engagement
    • Represent Sound Alternatives professionally within the community.
    • Participate in community behavioral health needs assessments.
    • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with community human service agencies and organizations.
  • Professional & Ethical Responsibilities
    • Adhere to the ethical standards and code of conduct of the profession.
    • Deliver services in accordance with accepted clinical practice standards and professional ethics.
    • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

Requirements

  • Active LCSW certification.
  • Alaska state license required.
  • Experience with EMR system: CPSI/Evident.
