About the role

The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical with Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts. This role involves providing patient care in a level 1 trauma environment, with a focus on adult medical-surgical units that include telemetry monitoring. The RN will ensure high-quality care delivery, respond to patient needs, and float to various units as required.

Schedule

• Night shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Weekly start dates on Mondays
• Every other weekend work required (Fridays through Sundays for night shifts)
• Float rotation may be required in 4-hour blocks while on shift (occurrences are rare)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a level 1 trauma environment
• Monitor and respond to telemetry alerts
• Float to various units as needed

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• BLS-American Heart Association certification (mandatory)
• ACLS-AHA certification (preferred)
• NIHSS certification (preferred)
• Epic electronic health record experience
• At least 0 years of experience in medical-surgical settings
• Must be separated from the organization for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, or contract)
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred or willingness to obtain it

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
