Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,530 per week
About the role
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Lufkin, Texas. This position involves providing care to patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, diabetes, pneumonia, chronic kidney disease, and other medical/surgical conditions. The role requires managing a patient load with ratios of 5-6:1 and engaging in monitoring and supporting telemetry patients.
Responsibilities
The shift schedule is dayshift, with 12-hour shifts, and the assignment is for 48 hours per week. Scheduling is managed by the facility, and block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Travelers will be scheduled based on needs of the facility.
Requirements
- Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Minimum of 6 years of recent Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing experience
- 18+ months of recent Med/Tele experience
- Proficiency in reading telemetry strips
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Certification in Heparin titration is required

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
