This role involves providing acute care to adult patients, including those with complex conditions such as cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure. The RN will work night shifts, offering critical nursing support in a level II trauma center that serves a diverse patient population. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical with Telemetry Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week Certifications: BLS (AHA required) Education & Experience: ADN, 1-year minimum experience required, 2 years preferred Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry Unit Information: 43-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6, equipped with VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, tube feeding pumps, and EHR system Cerner Additional Notes: Charge nurse experience and oncology skills are preferred but not mandatory; experience in cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, CHF are common diagnoses and treatments encountered.
