About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position at a 46-bed unit (40 acute, 6 intermediate care) in Palmer, MA. The role involves providing patient care on day shifts and may include floating to manage Med/Surg patients in the Emergency Department or Surge Unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 46-bed unit with acute and intermediate care patients.
• Work 12-hour day shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float to Emergency Department or Surge Unit to manage Med/Surg patients as needed.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• 1-2 years of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units.
• Certification in relevant specialty areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with telemetry nursing.
• Strong patient management skills.

Additional Information

• Patient ratios: 5-6 patients during day shift, 6-7 at night.
• Dedicated admission/discharge nurses, patient ambulatory services, respiratory therapists, and 24/7 security personnel available.
• No IV team or RRT team on-site.
• No float rotation required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
