Job Summary

The city of Farmington, New Mexico, is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) for a Medical Surgical With Telemetry position. This role involves providing quality patient care on a medical unit within a busy healthcare facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled for night shifts, and the assignment is set to start on 07/27/2026.

Job Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Unit Specialty
• Location: Farmington, New Mexico
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active nursing license
• ADN degree or higher
• At least 1 year of relevant experience (2 years preferred)
• Location in the United States
• No minimum experience requirement specified but relevant experience preferred

Additional Information

• Patient ratios of 1:5 and 1:6, utilizing equipment such as VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.
• The unit cares for adult patients (18 years and older) with common diagnoses including cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and congestive heart failure (CHF).
• The supervisor is the Manager, with an Assistant Manager supporting.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
