Travel Medical Surgical Telemetry RN - $2,100 per week
Job Summary
This role provides routine and complex nursing care in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry, using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse independently manages patient needs and supports patient learning by identifying needs and resources.
Job Details
Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 12 shift hours, minimum 36.0 hours per week

Required Qualifications
BLS: Basic Life Support
RN License: Registered Nurse license in state of employment or compact
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing: Preferred
Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty
Weekends: Every other weekend
On Call: Only if flexed off
Responsibilities
Provides nursing care consistent with the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with the level of practice
Affirms learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and resources
Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation
