About the role

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS Telemetry) registered nurse position located in Chewelah, Washington. This role involves providing patient care across adult and geriatric populations, with a focus on monitor-based telemetry. The assignment requires floating between units and adherence to unit-specific protocols, supporting a busy and dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in medical-surgical units with telemetry
• Float between Providence St Joseph's and Providence Mt Carmel hospitals if census does not support staffing needs
• Commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day)

Requirements

• Valid state RN license
• At least 1 year of recent experience in medical-surgical units with telemetry
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Experience charting in Epic
• Minimum of 4-5 patient ratios experience
• References covering 1 year

Preferred Qualifications

• Community hospital experience
• Telemetry experience
• Additional certifications such as NIHSS, ENPC, PALS, PEARS, NRP
• Travel experience
• Compact license
