Job Summary

Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse (MS Telemetry) in the Portland area. This position involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients within a Level IV Trauma Center, with responsibilities across multiple units. The role requires floating between units, on-call standby, and working every other weekend, supporting a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Position: 1 Year Experience Epic Experience Licensed in Medical Surgical with Telemetry. Requires valid state licensure, compact license accepted, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Shift Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Floats: Float rotation may be required.
• Schedule Details: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license: (compact license accepted)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Experience: Experience with Epic charting system, and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience.

Additional Information

• The position may require floating to different units based on patient needs and skill set.
• Prior experience with Epic is a hard stop, and candidates should be screened accordingly.
• The role involves working in a short-term acute care facility with a census of approximately 28 patients daily, providing adult and geriatric care with various diagnoses and procedures.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation, as a vehicle is required for the assignment, and flexibility to work holidays is expected.

Pay package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
