A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role involves caring for patients in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment with a focus on drip management, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring. The nurse will provide comprehensive care in an acute care setting and must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.
Responsibilities
The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on drip management, IV therapy, and telemetry monitoring. RNs may float to Medical, Medical Oncology, and Telemetry units, which run cardiac drips.
Requirements
- Wyoming nursing license
- BLS Certification
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing
Preferred qualifications include prior telemetry reading experience, experience caring for COVID-19 patients, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high turnover.
Skills
Telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, and drip management are required skills for this position.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
The schedule consists of 12 hour day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
