About the Role
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare organization in Wenatchee, Washington. The position involves providing high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical floor with a focus on safety, compassionate service, and adherence to clinical standards. This is an opportunity to work evening/night shifts in a dynamic hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide compassionate patient care
- Develop and reassess individualized care plans
- Administer medications and procedures
- Evaluate discharge plans
- Document assessments and interventions
- Conduct holistic patient evaluations addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
- Educate patients and their families
- Maintain current knowledge of workflows and evidence-based procedures
- Delegate care appropriately
- Participate in performance improvement
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
Requirements
- Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Adherence to organizational policies and unit standards
- Must function within the Washington Nurse Practice Act and stay current with legal aspects of nursing
- Float as a sitter may be required
- May float between Mares and Central Campuses; float in rotation; float between Mares Rehabilitation and Medical Surgical units
- 1 year of experience preferred; minimum of current clinical practice and familiarity with Medical Surgical patient care
Schedule
- Nights, 12-hour shifts
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- No float rotation required
