Schedule
No self-scheduling or block scheduling; shift schedule is made by the manager. Flexibility required for shift rotations, often 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.
Additional Information
RNs may be asked to participate in holiday rotations, working holidays by rotation
PCTs do not have scheduled holidays
No call or standby requirements; floating to other units may be necessary
Orientation: 1 day with educator/computer system training, 1 day with a preceptor
Equipment and Responsibilities: Manage heart monitor application, vitals, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, bathing, feeding, toileting, turning and positioning patients. RNs will monitor respiratory equipment like BIPAP, CPAP, high flow oxygen; RT personnel perform treatments

Pay Package
