Travel Medical-Surgical RN - $1,990 per week

Job Summary

This position is for a Medical Surgical Floor nurse at a healthcare organization located in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves providing post-surgical care for adult patients with complex medical conditions, including amputations, spinal cord injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, and strokes. The nurse will work primarily day shifts, contributing to patient recovery and ensuring quality nursing care.

Job Details

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of current nursing experience
• Experience in dysrhythmia management
• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• 1-2 travel assignments
• Previous employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facilities (must be noted in work history and verified before an offer)

Additional Information

• Candidates must have worked on a medical-surgical unit with patients who have undergone surgery.
• Previous experience with Johns Hopkins facilities must be documented in the work history.
• Candidates who have previously worked for Johns Hopkins health system facilities need to be gone for at least 1 full year before applying as a traveler.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
