Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse - $2,131 per week

About the role

A small hospital in central Oregon is seeking a float RN for Medsurg to float to L&D for night shift on a 13 week contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oregon
• Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved course
• Experience in Med Surg preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Skills

• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Knowledgeable in infection control practices
• Skilled in patient education and counseling
