Job Summary

The Med-Surg/Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing care on a Medical Surgical Oncology floor within a facility offering comprehensive services including emergency, cardiovascular, and cancer care. The position is suitable for RNs with or without prior experience, and begins on 08/10/2026.

Job Details

• Location: Lewiston, ME (300 MAIN STREET, ZIP 04240)
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BCLS or BLS certification
• Chemo certification (preferred but not required)
• 2+ years of experience
• Able to work in inpatient units
• At least 0 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Wound Vacs
• Prevena Vacs
• Baxter IV Pumps
• Knowledge of cancer, diabetes, pneumonia, and general surgery

Additional Information

• Inpatient care setting with patient ratios of 1:6
• Equipment includes Wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, Baxter IV Pumps
• Electronic Health Record systems utilized are Omnicell, EPIC, and SBAR
• EPIC Focus on Relationship Based Care with flexibility in scheduling

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
