Travel Medical-Surgical Neurology RN - $1,820 per week

About the role

Neurology Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position in the targeted location. This role involves floating between units as needed, providing specialized care for neuro patients, and working night shifts. The RN must be proficient in neuro skills, including stroke assessment and trauma care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Float between units as needed, providing specialized care for neuro patients.
• Work night shifts (12‑hour shifts).
• Have a vehicle for the assignment.
• Work three of the five designated holidays.
• Comply with facility float requests, which may include floating to sister facilities in nearby locations.
• Provide two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
• May be required to float to other neuro or medical surgical units based on skill sets and staffing needs.

Requirements

• Valid state license (compact license accepted)
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• At least 1 year of recent neuro patient experience
• Proficiency in cerebrovascular
