Travel Medical Lab Technician - $1,973 per week
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing following established procedures.
- Collect patient specimens, including performing phlebotomy.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation.
- Analyze, interpret, and accurately report laboratory results.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and safety standards.
- Participate in rotating weeknight and weekend on-call coverage.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical laboratory experience.
- Strong phlebotomy skills (required).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Current MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent CLS certification.
