About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Rhode Island
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long, nights only.
