Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $2,207 per week

About the role

This position is for a Registered Nurse on the West 6 Med/Tele unit, which consists of 40 beds. The unit requires flexibility according to the facility's needs, including floating to other units and performing charge nurse duties as needed. Candidates may be requested to block book, but this is not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.
• Float to other units as required by facility needs.
• Perform charge nurse duties when assigned.
• Work 12‑hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM) with a base schedule of 36 hours per week; optional 48‑hour weeks are available.
• Meet weekend requirements (one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend).
• Be available to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical‑surgical/telemetry nursing (2 years of U.S. work experience for non‑U.S. candidates).
• Active New York RN license.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
