About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night-shift travel contract in Columbia, South Carolina. This position requires strong clinical skills and experience in medical surgical and telemetry care.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio: 1:5

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage cardiac patients
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to medical emergencies and facilitate patient safety

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience
• Active SC or multi-state compact RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS; NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
