Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing generalized cardiac patients and possess familiarity with essential cardiac care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions with a focus on cardiac health
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
• Occasionally float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical areas as needed

Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36 hours
• Shift: 12 hours, days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or cardiac unit
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with Life Paks, Zoll, and Masimo equipment
• Proficient with Cerner electronic health record system
