About the Role
We are seeking a Travel Med Surg RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, and documenting care
- Administering medications and treatments according to standards
- Explaining procedures, preparing patients for diagnostics, and assisting physicians
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Maintaining safety, infection control, and discharge coordination
- Managing multiple patients efficiently and advocating for patient needs
- Documenting comprehensive patient information and ensuring regulatory compliance
Requirements
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
- Visual acuity and motor skills necessary for patient care
