About the role
We are seeking a skilled Med Surg RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions and monitoring cardiac telemetry data
- Administering medications and treatments according to standards
- Explaining procedures, preparing patients for diagnostics, and assisting physicians
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Documenting patient information and ensuring safety and infection control protocols
- Managing multiple patients efficiently and advocating for patient needs
- Facilitating discharge planning and maintaining a safe environment
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Physical ability to move and assist patients and equipment
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle high-pressure situations
