Travel Med Surg RN

Role: Travel Med Surg RN responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, prepare for diagnostic procedures, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensure patient safety, document care, advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and maintain infection control practices. Qualifications: Minimum one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Skills: Critical thinking, excellent communication, technical proficiency, physical endurance, interpersonal effectiveness, and ability to work under pressure. Must have visual acuity and motor skills for procedures. Key Duties: Explain procedures, administer treatments, conduct assessments, coordinate care, ensure safety, document thoroughly, advocate for patients, and support discharge processes.
