Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures
• Document care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Manage multiple patients while ensuring infection control
• Advocate for patient needs and facilitate discharge planning
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain standards of patient safety and ethics
• Explain procedures and work effectively with teams

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification

Skills

• Critical thinking and excellent communication
• Technical proficiency and physical ability to handle equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
• Visual acuity
