About the role
A highly skilled Med Surg RN is needed to provide patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and administer medications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure safety and infection control
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Advocate for patients and assist with discharge planning
- Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist patients
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications (Preferred)
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS certification
