Travel Med Surg RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Assess patient conditions and monitor cardiac telemetry
• Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain safety protocols and document patient information accurately
• Facilitate discharge planning and ensure infection control practices
• Advocate for patient needs and explain procedures to patients
• Administer treatments and conduct assessments
• Assist with diagnostics and ensure a safe environment
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards to deliver compassionate, efficient care

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred certifications: NIHSS and ACLS
