About the role

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role involves assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and monitor responses
• Maintain safe, clean environments and follow infection control practices
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans
• Manage multiple patients efficiently, prioritize care, and advocate for patient needs
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
• Valid RN license according to state regulations
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Preferred Certifications: NIHSS and ACLS certifications

• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to irregular schedules
