Travel assignment in a medical-surgical and telemetry unit.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions, monitoring telemetry data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Administering medications, preparing patients for procedures, and documenting care
- Ensuring patient safety, advocating for patient needs, and facilitating discharge planning
- Maintaining infection control practices and adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
Qualifications
Preferred: NIHSS, ACLS certifications
Skills
- Critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, PC skills, and physical ability to perform tasks
- Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain concentration
