About the role
We are seeking a Travel Med Surg RN responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Prepare patients for procedures and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Manage multiple patients and tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
- Technical proficiency in medical equipment and electronic health records
- Physical ability to support patient safety and care efficiency (e.g., lifting, standing for extended periods)
