Travel Med Surg RN

Role: Travel Med Surg RN responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, prepare patients for procedures, document care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage multiple patients, ensure infection control, advocate for patients, facilitate discharge planning, and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS. Must demonstrate critical thinking, excellent communication, physical and technical skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Key Duties: Explain procedures, monitor patient responses, maintain a safe environment, document care, coordinate with teams, manage patient flow, follow infection control standards, and support patient discharge processes.
