About the role
We are seeking a Travel Med Surg RN to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions, monitoring cardiac telemetry, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Explaining procedures, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
- Preparing patients for diagnostics, supporting recovery, and ensuring safety protocols.
- Managing multiple patients, advocating for their needs, and facilitating discharge planning.
- Maintaining infection control standards and supporting a safe, comfortable environment.
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience.
- Valid RN license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification; NIHSS and ACLS preferred.
Skills
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and physical ability to perform clinical tasks.
- Effective interpersonal, motor, and sensory skills to handle clinical procedures and patient interactions.
