About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, at a facility in Calais, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to supervising nurses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
- Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location – details provided upon hire).
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background check and drug screen required.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
