About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026, in Machias, Maine.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg.
- Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS).
- Valid license and/or certification in state of practice.
- Valid driver's license.
- Background check and drug screen required.

Pay
The pay package is based on 13 hour shifts and 39 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
