About the role

Malone Healthcare is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia. This position offers 36 hours per week with rotating 12-hour day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

Care for a 30-bed Med Surg/Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:6–1:7
Manage common conditions including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, AKI, urosepsis, post-op cholecystectomy/appendectomy, and telemetry patients
Perform remote telemetry monitoring
Administer heparin drips following aPTT protocol
Utilize PCT support as available
Float based on unit census

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Unexpired Driver’s License required
