About the role

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including all ages. With 24 beds available, the nurse will work alongside a professional team to deliver high-quality services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening.

Schedule

• 13-week contract position.
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 (12-hour nights).
• 36 hours per week.
