Travel Med Surg RN - $1,772 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). The unit has 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and provide general care
• Care for wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, and chest tubes
• Monitor patients for strokes and seizures post-operatively
• Administer dialysis or PCA pumps as needed
• Implement HAI prevention protocols, including CVC and Foley monitoring
• Conduct safety checks every 1-2 hours and facilitate bedside shift reporting

Required Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current certifications in BLS and NIHSS
• Experience in managing post-operative care for amputations, ostomies, and drains

Dress Code

Scrubs in navy, blue, white, black, gray, or ceil blue are required.
