Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN License
• BSN preferred
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC required within 18 months of hire

Lead a Medical-Surgical department through operational improvements while driving quality, staff development, and patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Med/Surg operations and staffing
• Drive department improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance
• Mentor, educate, and develop nursing staff
• Oversee orientation, competency validation, and scheduling
• Ensure evidence-based patient care and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Manage policies, equipment, supplies, and departmental quality initiatives
