Travel Med Surg ICU RN - $2,301 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. This 13-week contract begins November 16, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients experiencing life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high-intensity therapies, and interventions
• Provide patient care, education, and support to patients' families
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes
• Monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
