Job Summary

A Maternal Fetal Medicine (FETAL MED) Sonographer position is available at a healthcare facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role involves performing high-quality scans across multiple modalities including vascular, obstetrics, gynecology, abdominal, pediatric, and small parts procedures. The position requires adherence to department protocols and utilizing advanced imaging equipment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled for approximately 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily during standard weekday hours, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with registration in Abdomen, Obstetrics & Gynecology, or Vascular;
• ND State Licensure;
• minimum of 2+ years of experience as a patient-oriented, compassionate sonographer performing high-quality scans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-modality experience;
• experience with computerized charting and medication systems including GE Logiq E9, GE P6, EPIC Electronic Health Record, McKesson PACS, VRad.

Additional Information

• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
• The training program includes EPIC/Radiant system instruction conducted within the department by a super trainer, with a preceptor assigned for onboarding.
• May be required to work alone; call hours may be required during weeknights and weekends, with shifts possibly varying.
• The unit has six exam rooms, and no weekends or holidays are scheduled.
• The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio not applicable, given the nature of the role.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
